What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is remote and open to candidates located anywhere. You will be a key part of our engineering department, utilizing your expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, AWS, and microservices to build scalable solutions. Your responsibilities include:

• Working closely with our development team throughout the entire product lifecycle.
• Mentoring junior developers by sharing best practices and established software procedures.
• Maintaining and optimizing our existing software applications to ensure top performance.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have at least five years of experience building complex enterprise software with Java technologies, including deep knowledge of Spring Boot and Hibernate. You must be comfortable with relational databases, data modeling, and object-oriented design. We also require at least three years of experience working within agile environments, such as Scrum or Kanban, and a strong background in event-driven architectures, RESTful web services, and CI/CD pipelines. You should be proficient in English, possess a solid grasp of security best practices, and demonstrate a commitment to high-quality engineering. Experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, Docker, or AWS DevOps is considered a significant plus.
