Backend Engineer at Optimize Health

We are currently looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. You will play a vital role in integrating partner systems, managing complex data exchanges, and ensuring our platform remains fast and reliable as we continue to scale our services for patients and clinicians alike.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product designers, customer success teams, and fellow engineers to define and build new features that address the needs of our users.
• Develop and refine high-quality code while participating in peer reviews to maintain our standards for excellence.
• Author and review design documentation for larger initiatives to clarify project goals and solidify technical strategies.

Requirements

• Possess 2 to 4 years of professional experience working with technologies similar to our stack, which includes Go, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and gRPC.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to the quality of your work and a desire to take pride in what you build.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with your teammates to stay connected despite working in a distributed environment.
• Show an ability to evaluate various technical solutions, selecting the most appropriate path for today while keeping future scalability in mind.
• Maintain a growth mindset, viewing unfamiliar technologies or complex problems as opportunities to learn and expand your expertise.
