The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in Israel on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will be a vital part of an agile squad, designing and delivering backend features that power our core products. You will help us maintain high performance and scalability as we continue to grow, ensuring that our systems remain reliable for millions of users. This is a chance to take ownership of high-priority projects and influence the technical direction of our platform.

A day in the life

• You will design and develop robust backend features, focusing on writing clean, maintainable code that keeps our systems running at peak performance.
• You will collaborate with your team to build and optimize microservices, tackling complex engineering challenges within a distributed systems environment.
• You will leverage a modern technology stack, including Golang, Node.js, Python, SQL, NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS to ensure our solutions remain industry-leading.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with a passion for building scalable web products. We are looking for someone who brings the following experience to our team:

• At least 6 years of professional experience in building highly scalable SaaS products.
• Fluency in programming languages such as Golang, Node.js, or Python.
• Deep expertise in microservices architecture, distributed systems, and high-scale environments.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Bonus points if you have experience in the AdTech, media, or social media industries, or if you have thrived in fast-paced, global startup environments.
