The Role
Engineers on the Backend team produce the foundation for Doxel's construction insights. The team owns the behind the scenes technology that snapshots hundreds of thousands of square feet of construction activity per day and the software that ingests 100s of gigabytes of data per site per day. You will work closely with Product, Frontend Engineering, and Design to build a polished product that serves customer’s needs in an intuitive way. You will also work internally with teams that build and train our state-of-the-art CV and ML automation pipelines.
As the company serves a growing number of customers, the engineering team needs to bolster the data pipeline and API platform we have built to reduce the frequency of service disruptions and make the platform easier to extend in order to support new features. You will apply your backend software development expertise to promote strong design patterns and unify our data pipeline so different teams and systems work well together, acting as a force multiplier. Outside of your domain, you're eager to learn, inside your domain you're able and willing to teach us something. You care deeply about reliable, low-upkeep software.

The base salary for this position is $140,000 - $180,000, plus equity and benefits. Pay is based on factors such as location, skill level, qualifications, competencies, and overall experience.
