The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will be a vital part of our engineering organization, responsible for building and refining the core services that drive our business operations. You will work on complex systems that manage financial and underwriting processes, integrate machine learning models to enhance our policy management intelligence, and ensure our architecture remains scalable and reliable as we grow. This is an opportunity to solve challenging technical problems while directly influencing the products that serve our customers.

A day in the life

• Design and implement robust APIs that serve both our internal teams and our end customers.
• Orchestrate complex data flows across our backend systems and manage our database schemas to ensure data integrity.
• Build automated test suites and maintain key product features to ensure high performance and reliability.

Who you are

You are an experienced engineer with a strong background in building high-performance server-side systems. We value candidates who have at least five years of experience in backend development and a solid grasp of service-oriented architecture. You should be comfortable working with Go and have a deep understanding of relational databases. Beyond your technical skills, you are a clear communicator who thrives in cross-functional environments and possesses a strong bias toward action. Proficiency in English is required for this role.
