Backend Engineer at Cointracker

We have already reached significant milestones, including tracking over 250 billion dollars in assets, which accounts for more than 5 percent of the entire crypto market. With over 1 million tax forms generated and partnerships with industry leaders like Coinbase, MetaMask, and Uniswap, we are building the foundational tools that define the future of finance. We are backed by over 100 million dollars in venture capital from top-tier firms and investors, and we are now looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis.

• Develop and maintain new features, products, and backend services.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in backend engineering, with a preference for backgrounds in data engineering, finance, or the cryptocurrency sector.
• Strong command of computer science fundamentals, including distributed systems, system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proficiency in our core technology stack, which includes Python, Flask, GraphQL, Postgres, and Redis.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS, as well as containerization tools like Docker and infrastructure management with Terraform.
• A commitment to high-quality code, rigorous software testing, and engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a remote work environment, with the ability to overlap during our core hours of 9 AM to 12 PM PT.
• Fluency in English.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $175,000 to $210,000 USD. Your specific compensation will be determined based on your unique skills, education, and professional experience, regardless of your location. In addition to your salary, you will receive:
