Our platform helps multi-location brands, such as Adidas and ZenPark, optimize their online presence through search, discovery, and engagement. We are currently leading the way in Location Performance Optimization and integrating agentic AI to drive measurable business outcomes for our clients. We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our remote team and help us shape the future of our SaaS solution.

Key outcomes

• Lead innovative projects that enhance our SaaS platform.
• Design and improve our overall software architecture.
• Participate in the full lifecycle of distributed services and APIs, from design to execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional squads and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
• Write scalable, clean code and maintain robust test coverage.
• Ensure platform availability by participating in code reviews, refactoring, and optimizing delivery systems.

Requirements

• High proficiency in Kotlin or Groovy, with additional experience in other JVM languages like Java or Scala.
• Proven experience designing scalable software systems, ideally within a SaaS environment.
• Familiarity with containerization, microservices, event-driven architecture, cloud computing, and RESTful APIs.
• Deep knowledge of technologies including Spring Boot, Hibernate, JUnit, AWS, Elastic Search, MySQL, and Docker.
• A self-motivated, creative, and independent approach to engineering.
• Experience working with agile methodologies and automated testing.
• Fluency in English, suitable for a remote and asynchronous work environment.
