What you bring
We are seeking a Mid-Level Backend Engineer to join our Carrier Integration team on a full-time, on-site basis in the Netherlands. You will play a vital role in maintaining and expanding the connections between our core services and our logistical partners. Your daily work will involve the following responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining robust integrations between our platform and external logistical partners.
- Writing clean, testable code while utilizing Python, Django, and FastAPI to build scalable services.
- Managing our infrastructure and services using tools like Docker, Git, Linux, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have at least two years of professional experience working with Python web frameworks. You must be comfortable building and consuming REST APIs and have a strong grasp of how to integrate with external systems. We value engineers who are proactive about operational tasks, including monitoring metrics and responding to alerts. You should be proficient with the command line and understand how to design code with production observability in mind. Excellent communication skills in English are required, and you should be a collaborative team player who values transparency, continuous learning, and a fun, ego-free work environment.
