What you bring

As a Senior Backend Engineer working in a full-time capacity, you will play a critical role in shaping our communication platform. You will join one of our specialized engineering pillars, such as Workflow Automation, Communication, Connect, or Data and Insights, to build features that empower small and medium-sized businesses. This position is remote and available to candidates located anywhere.

• You will design and maintain event-driven microservices using TypeScript and Node.js.
• You will manage infrastructure and deployments using Kubernetes on AWS.
• You will collaborate with your team to ensure high-quality code standards while utilizing tools like RabbitMQ, Postgres, Mongo, Elastic, Redis, and Datadog.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who is a lifelong learner and takes true ownership of their work. You should have a strong background in TypeScript or experience with object-oriented languages like Java or C# alongside JavaScript. Proficiency with observability tools, including distributed tracing and structured logging, is essential. Beyond technical expertise, we value empathy, clear communication, and a thoughtful approach to solving complex problems. You should be someone who strives to leave the codebase better than you found it and who is always curious about the reasoning behind our technical decisions.

What we offer
