Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our development squads on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere, with a specific connection to our office in Estonia. You will be responsible for building high-availability services that power our platform, working within a modern tech stack to support our growing ecosystem.
Your impact
- Design and implement robust, maintainable code that strengthens our microservices architecture.
- Collaborate closely with product and data science teams to build data-driven products and enhance our ingestion infrastructure.
- Ensure the reliability and security of our services through performance analysis, monitoring, and the integration of third-party systems.
What you'll need
- At least 4 years of professional experience in backend development using PHP, Java, or C#.
- Deep familiarity with microservices, REST APIs, and web service architecture.
- Practical experience with Symfony or Laravel frameworks.
- Strong proficiency with Docker and AWS infrastructure.
- A commitment to engineering excellence, including TDD, clean code, and unit testing.
- Fluency in English for effective collaboration across our international team.
