What you'll be doing
- You will develop and maintain the robust REST APIs that serve as the backbone for our entire application.
- You will manage the storage and retrieval of billions of user-generated gaming clips while supporting real-time communication features.
- You will architect and optimize the systems that power our machine learning-based content feeds and friend recommendation engines.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in backend engineering and a passion for scalable systems. We are looking for someone who possesses the following qualifications:
- Strong professional experience with Java in a production environment.
- Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, including how to architect and implement them at scale.
- Expertise in relational databases like MySQL and PostgreSQL, specifically regarding schema design and performance optimization.
- Experience managing cloud infrastructure and designing scalable system architectures.
- A solid grasp of CI/CD practices, test-driven development, and version control using Git.
- Fluency in English to collaborate effectively with our team.
Bonus points if you have experience with Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud, or AWS, as well as a genuine passion for gaming communities.
