Role at a glance
We are looking for a Mid-Level Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility to work in a dynamic, international environment. You will be instrumental in helping us build robust, high-performance services while contributing to our evolving architecture.
Your impact
- Design and build scalable, high-performance applications from the ground up using modern backend technologies.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and fellow engineers to implement new features that delight our users.
- Act as an internal consultant by engaging with stakeholders to understand business needs and troubleshooting complex issues across team domains.
What you'll need
We value engineers who are proactive, self-driven, and passionate about learning. You should have at least 3 years of experience in a software development environment and a solid grasp of server-side applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience working within a microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, as well as Kubernetes and Kafka.
- Experience with architectural patterns such as Event Sourcing, Domain Driven Design, and CQRS.
- A background in CI/CD practices and deployment through environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in an agile, cross-functional team.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Scala or Java.
