We are a fast-growing, close-knit team of 13 people working from all over the world to change how companies handle their data. At Hightouch, we help businesses move information out of data warehouses like Snowflake and BigQuery and directly into the SaaS tools their teams use every day, such as Salesforce, Zendesk, and Braze. By closing the loop between the warehouse and operational software, we allow our customers to finally put their data to work. We recently raised our Series A, and we are looking for a motivated junior engineer to join our remote-first team and take real ownership of their work.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and extend our platform by building new integrations for various data sources and destinations.
- Enhance the depth and functionality of our existing integrations to solve new use cases for our customers.
- Collaborate across the board by managing product requirements, ensuring customer success through direct onboarding, and refining the user experience of our integrations.
What you'll bring
We are looking for someone who is product-minded and eager to write clean, simple code. You should be comfortable working in a remote environment and communicating effectively with both your teammates and our customers. Your background should include:
- 1 to 3 years of professional programming experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- A strong grasp of backend engineering and distributed systems principles.
- A passion for delivering high-quality work that directly benefits our users.
- Fluency in English.
While not required, we would love to hear if you have experience with queueing systems like Kafka or Kinesis, advanced SQL knowledge, or a history of contributing to open source projects.
