What you'll be doing
- Design and maintain high-performance backend services that power our VR training simulations while ensuring the platform remains scalable and reliable.
- Partner with our VR developers and product managers to define data contracts, event schemas, and platform features that measure and optimize the trainee experience.
- Manage and improve the production data pipeline to ensure accurate event mining and scoring for all VR simulation activities.
What you'll bring
We are looking for a mid-level engineer who is comfortable working in a remote environment and possesses the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Two to four years of experience building and maintaining large-scale backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python and the development of RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Solid knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to thrive in an agile, cross-functional team.
What you'll get
