About the Role
We are searching for a Senior Backend Engineer (Platform) to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role where you will play a critical part in designing and delivering the core functionalities of our cloud platform. You will work alongside our architects and engineering teams to ensure our infrastructure is robust, scalable, and highly efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our architects and team members to build and deploy essential platform features within our cloud environment.
- Focus on the continuous improvement of our platform automation, covering everything from initial development and testing to deployment and system observability.
- Partner with our streaming services and product teams to help them effectively integrate their services and leverage the full power of our platform.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring the following qualifications and expertise:
- At least 3 years of experience working with static languages like Go, C/C++, or C#, alongside scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Lua, or PHP.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience building and operating services that utilize Container and Serverless patterns on AWS, including services like EKS, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, and SQS.
- Proven experience with container technologies, including building images with Docker and managing Kubernetes manifests.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab-CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- A strong ability to learn quickly, a passion for tackling difficult technical problems, and moderate proficiency in English for reading, writing, and verbal communication.
Location
This position is based in Taiwan.
