Backend Engineer, Platform at Hightouch

What you bring

We are looking for a Junior Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will focus on extending our platform by building new data sources and destinations while refining our existing integrations. You will work remotely from anywhere in the world, contributing to a product that helps users turn raw data into actionable insights. Your core responsibilities include:

• Managing the product lifecycle of our integrations to ensure they meet specific customer requirements.
• Supporting customer success by onboarding users and ensuring our integrations function perfectly for their unique needs.
• Designing user-friendly experiences by ensuring that our integrations are intuitive and well-documented.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a proactive engineer with 1 to 3 years of programming experience who thrives on delivering value to users. You should be proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript and possess a solid understanding of backend engineering and distributed systems. We value clear communication, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to writing clean, readable code. While not required, we would love to see experience with SQL, queueing systems like Kafka or Kinesis, and a background in contributing to open-source projects. Fluency in English is essential for our global team.
