We are a well-funded, systems-focused company led by industry veterans, and we are looking for a talented engineer to join our Billing and Marketplaces team to solve the complex challenges that keep our platform running smoothly for users everywhere.

Role at a glance

We are seeking a Mid-Level Backend Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This role is open to candidates located anywhere, though we prefer those available within the GMT to GMT+4 time zones. You will be instrumental in ensuring our billing systems are scalable, accurate, and seamless as we continue to grow.

Your impact

• Design and implement innovative features that broaden the capabilities of the Neon platform.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and executive leadership to define our long-term roadmap.
• Take full ownership of features from initial concept through to iteration based on real-world user feedback.

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, distributed environment where technical excellence is a priority. We are looking for someone who brings the following qualifications:

• At least 3 years of professional experience building backend applications using Golang.
• Practical exposure to infrastructure tools including Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub CI/CD, and cloud providers like AWS or Azure.
• A proven track record of working within engineering teams to deliver tangible value to end-users.
• A collaborative mindset focused on helping your teammates become more productive.
• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, or Redis, as well as message buses like Kafka, is considered a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with our global team.
