With over 12 years of experience and a team of more than 370 professionals across Europe, we focus on helping people maximize the value of their hard-earned money. We are currently seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our E2E Operations team in Poland on a full-time, on-site basis. Our goal is to streamline the daily tasks of our back-office team by automating manual processes and ensuring our internal systems operate without interruption.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and operate services within a cloud-native, service-oriented architecture that supports our multi-platform applications and massive user base.
- Take full end-to-end ownership of your work, including system design, implementation strategies, and the ongoing production operations of your services.
- Collaborate directly with product managers and UX designers to influence our product roadmap and strategy, ensuring your contributions have a clear and measurable impact on our business.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should be a proactive problem solver with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work autonomously. We value candidates who are effective communicators in English and enjoy mentoring fellow engineers to foster team growth. Your technical background should include the following:
- Extensive experience in building distributed services and APIs capable of handling heavy-load production environments.
- Proficiency with our core technology stack, which includes PHP and the Symfony framework.
- Practical knowledge of infrastructure and deployment tools such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and Jenkins.
- Experience working with data technologies like MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
What we offer
We provide a monthly salary starting from €3000, which is adjusted based on your level of experience. Please note that this position is offered on a B2B contract basis.
