Responsibilities
- Build and maintain innovative products and features that impact millions of users.
- Take ownership of projects by designing and coding solutions from broadly defined requirements.
- Promote engineering excellence and establish best practices across the team.
- Collaborate on the architecture and design of both new and existing systems.
- Deliver high-quality products within our agile development environment.
Must-haves
- A degree in engineering from a top-tier institute.
- At least 2 to 3 years of professional backend development experience, ideally using Python.
- Strong proficiency in Django and REST API design.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL and SQL.
- Experience with ETL processes, database design, Redis, and Celery.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- A deep grasp of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a history of working at top technology companies.
Nice-to-haves
- Practical experience with machine learning, particularly in the context of NLP.
