What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our core team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role that offers significant autonomy, as you will be responsible for building critical infrastructure from the ground up. You will work within a small, high-impact team where your contributions will be highly visible and essential to our growth.
What will you do?
- Develop and maintain high-performance order matching engines, trade execution algorithms, and robust data structures.
- Design and scale reliable clearing systems, including banking integrations, collateral management, and margining processes.
- Build and optimize high-speed trading APIs and data feeds to support our clients, market makers, and brokers.
What makes you a great fit?
You should have at least 4 years of software engineering experience and a proven track record of leading large-scale projects. We value engineers who have a deep technical understanding and the ability to solve complex problems independently. To succeed here, you will need:
- A solid grasp of relational databases and transaction management.
- Experience building and maintaining highly concurrent systems.
- A strong background in algorithms and data structures.
- Excellent judgment regarding task prioritization and a drive to ship high-quality code quickly.
- Fluency in English and a genuine passion for the craft of software engineering.
