Backend Engineer - Cards & Integrations at TransferGo

What you bring

We are looking for a Mid-Level Backend Engineer to join our Cards & Integrations team on a full-time, on-site basis. You will design, build and operate cloud-native services that power our payments card domain, used by hundreds of thousands of customers across multiple platforms. You will enjoy end-to-end autonomy over system design, implementation and production operations, while collaborating closely with product managers, analysts and fellow engineers. The role is based in Poland, Lithuania or the United Kingdom and calls for hands-on experience with .NET, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, Jenkins, MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch and S3.

• Design, build and run scalable services in a microservice, event-driven environment.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver modern, reliable software that directly improves people’s lives.
• Learn from and contribute to a team of senior engineers, engineering managers and product leaders.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings at least two years of professional experience delivering quality software solutions, preferably within microservice or large-scale distributed systems. You are comfortable deploying backend applications on AWS or a comparable cloud platform and you value clean code, testing and engineering best practices. Strong communication skills in English are essential, as is an enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to navigate ambiguity while helping the team find pragmatic solutions. We look for people who are passionate about growing their expertise in a scaling fintech environment and who enjoy building products that real users rely on every day.

What we offer

We provide a competitive rewards package that starts at 3600 € gross per month on a B2B contract, with the final figure depending on experience.
