The role

We are seeking a Backend Engineer with a focus on Blockchain to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level role that is open to candidates located anywhere, as we support a fully remote work environment. You will play a vital part in our engineering organization, helping us build the next generation of financial pipes while working in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Core responsibilities

• Take ownership of key technical and product roadmap initiatives to ensure our infrastructure evolves alongside our users.
• Develop and maintain our backend systems while actively contributing to our blockchain and smart contract architecture.
• Scale our on-chain infrastructure to support millions of global users while rapidly shipping new features to our customers.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid foundation in software engineering and a passion for decentralized finance. We are looking for candidates with 2 to 10+ years of professional experience who possess the following:

• Strong proficiency in NodeJS and general backend development practices.
• Proven experience interacting with smart contracts and various blockchain protocols.
• A proactive mindset toward architectural decision-making and problem-solving.
• Prior experience in the fintech sector, particularly with card issuing or neobanking, is considered a significant plus.

Compensation and benefits
