Following our acquisition of the cloud-based DataOps platform Rivery, we are looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our specialized team. You will work alongside experts in data integration and automation to build high-scale solutions within a dynamic, fast-growing product environment.

Key outcomes

• Design and implement end-to-end features that drive our platform forward.
• Develop and maintain high-scale solutions to address complex Big Data challenges.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver a high-quality product.
• Contribute significantly to a rapidly evolving product within the Big Data ecosystem.

Requirements

• Two to five years of professional, hands-on experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience building and maintaining services within a cloud environment.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a genuine passion for contributing to innovative product development.
• Professional fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working with containerization tools like Docker.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MongoDB and DynamoDB.
• Experience with messaging platforms like Kafka.
• Practical knowledge of Cloud Data Warehouses or Data Lake engines, including Spark, Redshift, Athena, BigQuery, or Snowflake.

Compensation

This position offers the benefit of a hybrid work model, requiring three days per week in our Ramat Gan office and allowing for two days of remote work.
