What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Turkey, where you will help us build high-performance, scalable platforms that enable commerce through technology. We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience who is ready to take on significant responsibility within our dynamic, agile environment.
What will you do?
- Develop new features and optimize our existing platform to ensure a seamless experience for our millions of users as we continue to scale.
- Collaborate closely with your team through planning meetings, task estimation, code reviews, and pair programming sessions.
- Commit to continuous growth by learning new technologies and refining your technical skills alongside talented colleagues.

Your technical toolkit should include:
- At least 5 years of professional experience with languages such as Java, Go, C#, Scala, Kotlin, or Node.js.
- Proficiency in OOP, Design Patterns, Clean Code, refactoring, and unit testing.
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases like PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, or Couchbase.
- Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience building RESTful backend services and working with continuous delivery pipelines.
- Knowledge of distributed architectures, Kubernetes, and performance monitoring is considered a significant plus.
