You will join Veepee, the European digital commerce group formed when vente-privee consolidated its brands into one organisation of 6,000 people. With a 3.7 billion euro turnover and operations across 14 countries, Veepee continues to shape online sales through its well-known platforms. We are now looking for a Senior Backend Developer to strengthen the CRM Brands product team inside the Sales Preparation domain.
What you'll be doing
- Design, build and maintain new features while refactoring existing ones for the internal tools that help our sourcing teams manage supplier relationships and track sales performance.
- Write clear technical documentation, review teammates’ code, and keep our services reliable and scalable so they meet production deadlines.
- Take part in agile ceremonies, occasionally lead them, monitor live systems and provide level-two support when incidents arise.
What you'll bring
We expect at least five years of hands-on backend development experience, with strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem. You will also bring:
- solid knowledge of relational databases and proven experience designing microservices and REST or other web-service APIs;
- habitual use of unit and integration tests, Git for version control, and a collaborative approach to agile practices such as daily stand-ups, retrospectives and backlog grooming;
- clear verbal and written English, the ability to learn new concepts quickly and the drive to work autonomously within a short time.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Elastic Stack, RabbitMQ or Kafka is a plus, as is prior work with Salesforce APEX or Lightning.
