Backend Developer at Yuno

We are currently looking for a passionate Backend Developer to join our Dashboard team and help us build the infrastructure that will define the future of payments.

The opportunity

This is a full-time, remote role for an individual contributor with at least two years of experience. You will play a vital role in our engineering department by designing and maintaining the systems that power our platform. We are looking for someone who is eager to take ownership of the full software lifecycle, from the initial spark of an idea to its successful implementation in production. You will work closely with both technical and business teams to ensure our technology remains at the cutting edge of the industry.

A day in the life

• Collaborate within an agile environment to build robust APIs and microservices using modern technologies.
• Take complete ownership of your projects, ensuring that every feature you develop functions perfectly in a live production environment.
• Bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders by translating complex engineering challenges into clear, actionable solutions that drive our growth.

Who you are

You are a mid-level developer who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving complex problems. You possess a strategic mindset and are comfortable adapting to a changing roadmap. To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Golang and experience with SQL, specifically Postgres.
• A solid understanding of unit testing and Git workflows.
• Knowledge of OWASP security standards to ensure our systems remain secure.
• The ability to communicate effectively in English with both technical and non-technical team members.
• A high degree of autonomy and a detail-oriented approach to your work.

Bonus points if you have experience in the payment industry, have worked with Payment Service Providers, or have knowledge of frontend languages.
