Ready to shape the systems that power unforgettable live experiences for fans around the world? At P1 Travel we connect people with the biggest events in sports, music and motorsport, and our internally built backend platform keeps every ticket, order and inventory update running smoothly at scale.
What you bring
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join us full time in a hybrid capacity. You will work with C#, .NET, Entity Framework, Blazor and ASP.NET Core while supporting our ticketing and e-commerce platforms, and you will use Docker, Kubernetes and Git to keep everything reliable and maintainable. Your main responsibilities will be designing and building core backend systems for ticket storage, order handling and pricing, applying modern .NET practices to create clean and testable code, and contributing to architecture decisions that focus on modularity and long-term performance. The role is based in the Netherlands.
- Design and implement reliable back-end services that manage inventory, orders and pricing under high load.
- Write clean, maintainable C# code using ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework and messaging tools while following clean architecture and Domain-Driven Design patterns.
- Build internal tools with Blazor and collaborate with product owners and frontend developers to deliver scalable solutions.
Requirements
You bring at least four years of professional backend experience, including two years working with modern .NET in production environments, and you are comfortable with ASP.NET Core Web APIs, background workers and messaging technologies. You value clean code, enjoy reviewing pull requests and sharing knowledge, and you are familiar with CI/CD pipelines, containerised applications and Git. A working knowledge of Blazor is required, while any experience with React or frontend collaboration is a plus. Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid team are essential. Because the position is located in the Netherlands, you must already live in the country and hold the right to work here. English and Dutch are the working languages.
What we offer
In addition to a competitive salary we provide a hybrid working arrangement that allows two days per week from home, 27 days of paid time off, a learning and development budget for courses, books and conferences, a fully paid 4 % pension contribution, and commuter benefits that include travel-cost reimbursement or a public-transport pass.
- Hybrid work with two days from home
- Learning budget for professional growth
- 27 days of paid time off
- Commuter benefits or public-transport card
