Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Germany, where you will help us solve complex technical challenges and refine the systems that power our fitness ecosystem.
Your impact
- Design and maintain robust backend systems using Ruby on Rails that serve millions of active users.
- Take ownership of architectural decisions and establish best practices to ensure our platform remains scalable and efficient.
- Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and implement caching strategies to optimize the user experience.
What you'll need
- Extensive experience building web applications and high-traffic APIs.
- Deep proficiency in Ruby on Rails or similar modern web frameworks.
- A strong background in testing methodologies, specifically using RSpec to maintain high code quality.
- Comfort working within an Agile environment and collaborating via GitHub.
- A passion for clean, performant code and a desire to share knowledge within a cross-functional team.
