We believe that technology is the primary driver of our success, and we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team in Turkey to help us build the world’s leading e-commerce platform.
Key outcomes
- Design, code, and implement new features while optimizing our existing platform to ensure scalability and a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate closely with team members through code reviews, pair programming, and active participation in planning and task estimation.
- Engage in continuous professional growth by mastering new technologies and refining your technical skills alongside a talented international team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience working with one or more of the following languages: Java, Go, C#, Scala, Kotlin, or Node.js.
- Strong proficiency in OOP, Design Patterns, Clean Code, refactoring, and unit testing.
- Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Elasticsearch.
- Practical knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience building RESTful backend services, ideally using frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and build pipelines.
- A collaborative, agile mindset with excellent communication skills in English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with distributed architectures that prioritize fault tolerance and loose coupling.
- Technical proficiency in Kubernetes and performance monitoring tools.
