What you'll be doing
- You will tackle difficult domain modeling challenges to simplify the outdated and process-heavy energy market, ensuring our systems are precise and efficient.
- You will build robust technology capable of processing millions of smart meter readings daily, while feeding that data into machine learning pipelines to predict energy consumption.
- You will play a key role in disrupting the Italian energy sector by developing smarter, more dynamic technology that supports the transition toward decentralized, renewable energy generation.
What you'll bring
We are looking for a diligent, thoughtful, and self-driven engineer who is passionate about the energy transition. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and eager to learn new technologies. Your background should include:
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Django or similar web frameworks.
- A solid understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and building fault-tolerant software.
- Experience with Celery for asynchronous processing and Postgres for database management.
- Fluency in both English and Italian.
- Bonus points if you have experience with AWS, Terraform, Packer, Consul, or frontend technologies like React and Redux.
