Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our tight-knit team in Istanbul. This is a full-time position that operates on a hybrid basis, giving you the flexibility to work remotely or from our office. We value asynchronous workflows and trust our engineers to manage their time effectively while maintaining high standards for our software.
Your impact
- Architect, develop, and deploy robust back-end services that serve as the foundation for our front-end applications.
- Enhance our existing infrastructure by focusing on security, scalability, and overall system performance.
- Maintain technical clarity by documenting architectural decisions as our systems evolve.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should be a proactive problem solver who communicates well in English. We are looking for the following technical expertise:
- Extensive experience building back-end web applications, particularly within a microservices architecture.
- Deep proficiency with Node.js, Express, and NestJS.
- Strong working knowledge of databases and messaging tools, including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and gRPC.
- Experience with training or deploying ML models is a significant plus.
- A strong sense of ownership, paired with the discipline to track your own progress and report on your achievements and challenges weekly.
