We are Lovepop, the company behind one billion magical moments. We fuse art and engineering to design the most enchanting paper cards and gifts, and we are now looking for a Senior Backend Developer to strengthen the systems that power our rapid growth.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices with .NET Core and C#.
- Create and evolve RESTful and GraphQL APIs as well as Razor Pages and MVC web applications.
- Apply SOLID principles, write clean and testable code, and participate in code reviews.
- Diagnose production issues, roll out new features, and tune performance for speed and reliability.
- Containerize services with Docker, manage deployments, and monitor system health.
- Author unit tests and keep technical documentation current.
- Work within an Agile team using Git for version control and continuous collaboration.
Must-haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least four years of hands-on experience building production systems with .NET Core.
- Strong command of C#, ASP.NET Core Web API, RESTful services, and GraphQL.
- Proven experience designing and operating microservices architectures.
- Proficiency with Entity Framework Core and PostgreSQL.
- Practical experience deploying and managing workloads on AWS.
- Performance-first mindset with a track record of optimization work.
- Clear, professional communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
