About the Role

We are seeking a Backend Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. This mid-level role focuses on our innovation projects, where you will help build and maintain services that support both our business energy and generation divisions. You will function much like a startup team within our larger, rapidly scaling company, giving you the chance to take ownership of key products and influence our technical direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the backend services for our suite of innovative products designed for large business clients.
• Collaborate closely with our commercial and data teams to propose creative solutions and define new features.
• Write robust, fault-tolerant code while participating in the broader backend development efforts for our energy and generation projects.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience working within the Python ecosystem.
• Proven experience building backend web services for mobile or web applications using Python and Django.
• Strong proficiency with Git and a solid understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to discuss technical visions and implement high-quality software.
• Familiarity with GraphQL APIs and experience in financial systems are considered strong assets.
• A genuine passion for learning and a desire to grow alongside our team.
