About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our Backend Infra team on a full-time basis. This is a mid-level position where you will apply your technical expertise to maintain and expand our sophisticated infrastructure. You will work with cutting-edge open-source technologies to solve complex, large-scale challenges, ensuring our platform remains at the forefront of the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and extend the infrastructure that supports our entire backend stack.
- Collaborate across various organizational teams while exploring a wide range of domains and technologies.
- Ensure our core components utilize the latest advancements to optimize system security, stability, and performance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 2 years of professional, hands-on experience in Java, Kotlin, or Scala backend development.
- Deep expertise in microservices patterns, frameworks, and architectural approaches.
- A strong grasp of software development best practices and design patterns.
- A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a commitment to being a strong team player.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a global company environment.
- Bonus points for experience with cloud infrastructure like AWS or Azure, automation, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Kafka, OpenSearch, and Prometheus.
Location
This position is based in Israel and operates on a hybrid work model.
