The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Back-End Software Engineer to join our remote-first team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our technical operations, ensuring that our infrastructure can handle high traffic while delivering a seamless experience for players and esports organizations alike. You will play a pivotal role in architecting systems that bridge the gap between complex gaming data and user-facing applications, helping us push the boundaries of what is possible in the gaming and Web3 space.

A day in the life

• You will architect and scale robust backend systems, focusing on performance and resilience to handle large datasets and high traffic.
• You will design and maintain reliable APIs that serve as the bridge between our frontend applications and core business logic.
• You will proactively monitor system performance and security, identifying bottlenecks and implementing long-term fixes to ensure data privacy and platform stability.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least 5 years of experience in software development, whether through professional roles or by building your own products from the ground up. You are comfortable working with TypeScript and PostgreSQL, and you have a solid grasp of containerization with Docker. You are familiar with cloud infrastructure on AWS or Heroku, and you have a genuine passion for the gaming and Web3 ecosystems. Proficiency in English is essential for our collaborative, international environment.
