Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Back End Software Engineer to join our Core Platform team. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates located anywhere. You will serve as the backbone of our organization, focusing on the infrastructure and services that allow our product teams to innovate quickly and reliably.

Your impact

• Design and maintain the core infrastructure and service libraries that power our platform using Python, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Build scalable, efficient back-end systems that allow our product teams to deliver new features to millions of users with speed and ease.
• Take ownership of the security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of our cloud infrastructure to ensure a seamless experience for our global community.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of experience in back-end or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud providers.
• A solid foundation in computer science, with a proven ability to design and maintain software at scale.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
• A passion for problem-solving and writing clean, maintainable code that simplifies complex systems.
• Fluency in English.

Perks and compensation
