We are looking for a talented Senior Back End Java Engineer to join our team in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. Our organization focuses on building and maintaining sophisticated back-end RAD architecture, and we need your expertise to help us integrate these tools with our existing enterprise solutions. You will be working in a hybrid environment, with the opportunity to telework up to two days each week while collaborating closely with our system and software engineering teams.
What you'll be doing
- You will design, develop, and deploy robust back-end architecture to support our core systems.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new RAD tools into our current Agency infrastructure.
- You will manage and operate our back-end solutions to ensure they meet our enterprise standards and performance requirements.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in software engineering and be comfortable working in an Agile environment. We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
- Professional experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Proven ability in API development and working with Elasticsearch.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Ideally, you will also have experience with Apache NiFi, Kafka, and Docker.
- Familiarity with DevOps automation, Jira, and Confluence is highly valued.
