The role

We are looking for a Senior Back End Engineer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity within the United States. In this position, your primary mission is to design and develop the capabilities that allow our users to visualize and interact with their data to satisfy their analytical requirements. You will be deeply involved in every phase of the product lifecycle, from initial concept and user research to planning, prototyping, execution, and final delivery.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of robust software solutions that empower users to solve intricate problems.
• Manage the full product development lifecycle, including conducting user interviews and iterating on features based on real-world feedback.
• Architect and maintain scalable systems that support complex data interactions and analytical workflows.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a passion for user-centric engineering. We look for the following qualifications:

• A solid academic background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Deep familiarity with data structures, storage systems, and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• A proven ability to work independently, take ownership of your projects, and make informed decisions with minimal supervision.
• Fluency in English to facilitate effective collaboration within our team.
