As a self-funded, seed-stage company with strong initial traction, we are now looking for passionate individuals to join our team and help us bring our vision to a wider audience.
What you bring
We are looking for a Senior Back End Engineer to join us on a full-time, remote basis. You will play a pivotal role in our early-stage growth, working closely with our founders to build our product from the ground up. Your work will focus on high-quality engineering, utilizing functional programming principles and agile methodologies to keep our systems scalable and efficient. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Independently designing, developing, and maintaining robust server-side applications that prioritize performance and security.
- Collaborating directly with product managers and our customers to define and refine our platform capabilities.
- Architecting new system components and managing our technical backlog to ensure long-term efficiency.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is an ambitious, thoughtful engineer who excels at executing complex projects independently. You should have a deep understanding of how to build and maintain sophisticated back-end systems while avoiding unnecessary technical debt. We value candidates who are well-versed in continuous integration and modern development practices. While experience with our core stack, including Postgres, Next.js, and Apollo GraphQL, is preferred, we also appreciate familiarity with AWS and Terraform. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in English.
What we offer
