About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Back End Engineer to join us in a full-time capacity. In this role, you will be a core member of our engineering team, working alongside our Full-Stack Engineering Lead to design and implement the robust infrastructure that powers our platform. While your primary focus will be on back-end services, you will have the opportunity to collaborate across the full stack to ensure our technology effectively supports the families and providers we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, distributed back-end services using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Partner with front-end engineers to develop seamless APIs that connect our system components.
• Create and maintain data models using both relational and NoSQL database technologies.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates who bring a blend of technical expertise and a passion for healthcare innovation. You should have at least 5 years of experience in back-end development, including strong proficiency in languages such as Python or Java. Additionally, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• A solid background in building and deploying REST or GraphQL APIs.
• A deep understanding of security best practices to ensure the integrity of user data.
• Experience with relational databases and familiarity with NoSQL systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.

Location

This position is based in the United States and requires an on-site presence.

Compensation and Benefits
