Back End Engineer at Files.com

We are looking for a Senior Back End Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. At Files.com, we provide a cloud-based managed file transfer platform that helps businesses securely store, share, and move data. Responsibilities

• Design and implement sophisticated features for our platform, which currently serves over 4,000 business customers and handles hundreds of API requests every second.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Ruby and Ruby on Rails, while leveraging tools like Redis and Elasticsearch to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Collaborate on critical infrastructure projects, such as enhancing our security protocols, optimizing system performance, and building advanced tools for file synchronization and versioning.

Requirements

• Extensive experience working as a Senior Back End Engineer in a professional environment.
• Deep technical proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• A strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system scaling.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a 100% remote team structure.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
