Back-end Developer at Miso

The role

We are seeking a Senior Back-end Developer to join our product team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role where you will play a critical part in shaping our technical architecture and delivering high-quality services to our users. We value engineers who are proactive problem solvers and thrive in an agile environment where data-driven decisions and customer feedback guide our path forward.

Core responsibilities

• Design and develop new services tailored to our evolving business requirements.
• Build and optimize internal tools to maximize operational efficiency across the company.
• Refactor and improve existing systems, including performance optimization, structural enhancements, and the transition toward a microservices architecture.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in back-end development and a passion for modern web technologies. We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional back-end development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with database management using PostgresSQL and MongoDB.
• A solid understanding of Test Driven Development practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Korean.
• A proactive mindset toward learning and adopting new technologies.
