Azure Solution Architect at SEP

We are looking for a Senior Azure Solution Architect to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity at our offices in Westfield, Indiana. Since our founding in 1988, SEP has grown into one of the largest software development firms in Indiana, with 160 employees dedicated to bringing ideas to life for clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to growing scale-ups. In this role, you will serve as a key consultant, bridging the gap between client needs and technical execution while guiding our development teams toward successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural strategy and technical discovery for new and existing software systems, including the development of prototypes to validate potential solutions.
• Act as a primary technical advisor during client sales meetings, effectively communicating complex recommendations to stakeholders ranging from engineering teams to executive leadership.
• Provide ongoing mentorship to software engineers to deepen the technical capacity of our teams and ensure project momentum through proactive problem solving.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in software engineering and client-facing consulting. We require the following qualifications:

• At least 10 years of professional experience with mainstream development technologies.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience specifically with Azure, along with 5 years of experience in system architecture.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to build trust with clients and mentor team members.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
• Ability to work on-site at our facility in Westfield, IN.

Preferred qualifications include experience communicating with C-suite stakeholders, leading organizations, and holding an Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
