Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain vital Azure resources such as VMs, AKS, and Azure Functions.
• Drive operational excellence by monitoring system performance and implementing necessary optimizations.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Automate deployment workflows using Python, C#, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
• Create reusable automation frameworks to streamline operations across both Azure and AWS environments.
• Manage cloud expenditures by rightsizing resources, utilizing reserved instances, and maintaining proper tagging.
• Collaborate with security, development, and IT teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with our business goals.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base by documenting architectures and operational best practices.

Must-haves

• At least three years of hands-on experience managing Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps and Terraform.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including VNETs, VPN, ExpressRoute, and NSGs.
• Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, C#, PowerShell, or Azure CLI.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation standards.
• Experience with database solutions like Cosmos DB.
• Fluency in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Sumo Logic and Snowflake service connections.
• A strong interest in operationalizing data.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Practical experience with container orchestration via Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and Azure Arc.
• Experience managing AWS infrastructure and cross-cloud operations.
