Azure Data Architect at Quest Analytics

We are looking for a Senior Azure Data Architect to join our remote team and help us scale our products to the next level. Key outcomes

• Design, implement, and maintain robust data architectures using Azure cloud technologies.
• Partner with internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
• Optimize data services, including SQL, Azure Data Factory, Blob storage, and Databricks.
• Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and quality to ensure high performance.
• Provide expert guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, specifically regarding data lake design and data modeling.
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging cloud management technologies.
• Utilize Python, Spark, Power BI, and Azure DevOps to support our data infrastructure.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in data architecture, engineering, or analytics.
• A minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in data modeling.
• Proven success in implementing a production-level data lake or data warehouse.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Azure DevOps, and Azure Machine Learning.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on collaborative teamwork.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
