We are looking for a senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join the CarOffer team, a leader in the digital wholesale marketplace that became part of the CarGurus family in 2023. You will help us revolutionize the automotive industry by building scalable, resilient infrastructure and optimizing the digital platforms that tens of millions of consumers and thousands of dealerships rely on every month.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain AWS infrastructure by utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
- Partner with development teams to modernize and streamline our CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or AWS ECS.
- Build and support robust DevOps solutions across the AWS ecosystem to ensure high availability.
- Oversee the performance and optimization of our Elasticsearch, Snowflake, and dbt cloud instances.
- Monitor production environments to troubleshoot issues and maintain system uptime.
- Collaborate across teams to translate technical requirements into effective, scalable solutions.
Must-haves
- Proven experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role with a deep focus on AWS.
- Strong proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Solid scripting skills in languages such as Python.
- Experience working with CI/CD tooling to automate deployment processes.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Fluency in English.

- Direct experience managing and optimizing Elasticsearch, Snowflake, and dbt Cloud.
