We are looking for a Senior AWS Data Engineer to join our team for a full-time, long-term project. Our company specializes in building robust data solutions, and we are excited to bring on an expert who can help us elevate our infrastructure. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Spain.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines within the AWS ecosystem.
- Develop efficient data processing workflows using Apache Spark and PySpark.
- Manage data orchestration and containerized services using Airflow, Docker, and ECS.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in data engineering and analytics. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Proven professional experience in data engineering and AWS data analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Solid understanding of data orchestration tools and containerization technologies.
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Bonus points if you have experience with open-source tools like Kafka or dbt, programming in Java, or working with platforms like DataBricks, QlikView, and QlikSense.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies is highly valued.
