At Swish Analytics, we are building the future of sports betting, fantasy sports, and predictive data products. We believe that successful oddsmaking is a science driven by mathematics and engineering rather than guesswork. Our team is looking for a collaborative expert who is passionate about real-time data and technical excellence. If you enjoy solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment and want to help us build systems that serve a diverse range of enterprise and consumer clients, we would love to meet you.
What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Security Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a 100% remote position that requires an individual with significant hands-on experience in cloud security. You will play a vital role in maintaining our security posture as we continue to innovate in the sports analytics space.
What will you do?
- You will design and implement robust security measures for our AWS environment, focusing on IAM policies, VPC security, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- You will lead our DevSecOps initiatives by integrating automated security tools into our CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure through code using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- You will oversee the security of our containerized applications, specifically focusing on Kubernetes and EKS clusters, while automating compliance checks and responding to security incidents.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should have 5 to 8 years of dedicated experience in AWS security. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with Python or BASH to automate security tasks and who has a deep understanding of container security best practices. You should be proficient in using GitHub for policy management and have experience with security tools like Security Hub. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate technical security concepts to various stakeholders are essential. While not required, certifications such as the AWS Certified Security Specialty or the Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist are highly valued.
What's in it for you?
We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $145,000 USD. Additionally, you will enjoy the flexibility of working in a remote environment.
