The role

We are looking for a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Australia. This is a senior-level position for a passionate professional who wants to work on sophisticated projects alongside industry leaders. You will play a vital role in helping our clients optimize their cloud environments while focusing on security, automation, and modern reliability practices.

Core responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to develop and integrate cloud operating models that align with the Well Architected Framework, DORA principles, and SRE best practices.
• Enhance system health and performance by implementing modern observability principles and optimizing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct cloud-readiness reviews and create strategic roadmaps to improve functionality, security, and scalability for our clients.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in cloud engineering and a passion for containerized technologies. We value candidates who bring the following qualifications:

• Deep knowledge of AWS fundamentals, including VPC and RDS.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, ECS/EKS, and OpenShift.
• Proficiency in Serverless architectures and Lambda functions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Strong automation skills using languages such as Golang, Python, Javascript, or Ansible.
• A solid understanding of DevOps, Agile, and SRE methodologies.
• The ability to communicate effectively with customer architects and engineering teams in English.
