We are currently looking for a skilled professional to join our team as we support the Department of Defense through the JCC2 program, helping to integrate and optimize critical applications for the Joint Force.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Architect to join us in a full-time, on-site capacity. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert and a vital link between the Government program management office and the various commands we support. You will be responsible for providing on-site technical guidance, training, and operational support, ensuring that our cloud-first innovations are seamlessly integrated into the environments where they are needed most.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level analytical support to define requirements, improve processes, and conduct specialized technical studies.
- Manage the full lifecycle of client engagements, including scheduling, tracking, and reporting on project milestones.
- Perform on-site system installations, diagnostics, and troubleshooting while training operators on new equipment and system features.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in IT systems administration across both Linux and Microsoft platforms.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working specifically within the Cyber Mission Force community.
- Two years of hands-on experience maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure, including patching, STIG compliance, and upgrades.
- Demonstrated proficiency in database queries and system administration best practices.
- A current secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance and a polygraph.
- Willingness to travel for work more than 25% of the time.
- Desired skills include experience with DevOps, Agile methodologies, Atlassian tools, and relevant certifications such as AWS SysOps Administrator or Red Hat.
Location
This position is based in the United States and requires an on-site work presence.
